a week after AVit San Francisco, in which I spent another of my nine lives,(year of the tiger ) and I am really having to wonder how many lives are left...
Well here is the story ...
After doing the day stint working @ the Arkaos/M-Audio demonstrations, Spot, Josh Goldberg, Eric(m-audio rep) Rae(the decoration) and Doug(archetype) who was driving his VW vanagon, along with all the gear, and I. all piled into the Vanagon to go back to our hotel...
Well, I don't know if anyone knows what SF parking is like, (let alone having gear left in a car on the street for ant time), but we decided the best bet was to go for the 24 hour parking for 40 buck's, in the parking garage right next to the hotel..
Because it was so cramped in the VW, and this model Vanagon has a sun roof that you can roll back, and stand up in, I decided to sit on that part of the VW roof, while we waited for the parking attendent's to move some tightly packed cars..
While waiting just outside the parking entrance, I realized that I better get back in the vehical, but for some odd reason didn't..(?)
By the time Doug started to pull into the parking garage, I had turned my self around, and was now facing backwards, and
didn't see the top of the entrance, with a metal bar that had been bent over, but was still sticking out about a foot, coming my way...
The life spent was saved by the alert parking attendent standing right by the entrance!!!
When he yelled to duck down, and I realized at that moment, exactly what to do, and managed to slither down inside of Vanagon, with inches to spare..
Eric, who had been looking back from the front seat, and saw it all, had actually thought for a moment that I had hit the piece of metal sticking out of the overhead part of the entrance...
Needless to say. and I realize it now, that parking attendent prolly saved my life, for which I didn't even thank him for, because at the time, I didn'r hardly think twice about the incedent..(I think sometimes Pixie's can be a bit too, uh how would I say it, Happy-Go-Lucky...
Fate is such a strange bedfellow.. Who really determines our fate?
In the past year I have suffered, both my father's death, and Tobias, whom I met in the UK on the pixyfied tour. I had really only just briefly got to know Tobias, but found a kindred spirit in him, and his very untimely and shocking death still pass thru my mind most every day..
Why are some here to stay, while other's are here and gone?
all questiones I'm in need of knowing...

After the couple of shows in Canada and Oregon, I packed my VJ bags(and cases), and headed over to the UK, for the 12 date Pixy-fied tour of the UK..
The first date was Project Ozma, hosted by UK's talented VJ crew, Inside Us All.
It was my first show in London, and turned out to be one of the best!
I helped the
Insider's set up a 5 projector setup, 4 of the screens being a 4 sided projection screen, in the middlle of the dance floor.

I was particularly amazed at all the Psy-Art and Deco, that graced this event, and actually felt like I was in a big psychedelic museum...
The next weekend was the much anticipated UK Psy-Trance festival, "Liquid Connective" which featured many of Psy-Trance's biggest act's, including Infected Mushroom, and PsyCraft..
The location was a beautiful piece of land in Cornwall, and next to a nice river..

It was great to be one of the event VJ headliner's, (along with VJ RayV)

in a group of a dozen VJ's or so lined up for the festival..
Unfortunately, the police found out about out lovely location, and closed us down..
the VJ's ended up doing a illegal small campout party near King Arthur's ledgendary birth place of Tintagel..

All in all, I had a great weekend, and met many good people
and made some great connections..
The next event(s) on my tour was to become one of the longest and most up and down weekend's on the whole 3-1/2 month tour...

Update-3-'04
So much has happened since my last entry, I don't know where to begin..Hmmm, maybe where i left off..
After AVit NA in Chicago, The Space Bunker's and I came back to Colorado to throw our 7th annual Chakra festival, which featured, I/O (dallas and fred), No Input visual product, VJ WileyCat, VJ Archetype, and my self..
Crown Chakra was the best of the Chakra gathering's, and after that event, VJ WileCat, No Input , and VJ Archetype went into the Space Bunker and did a SpaceBunker Mix session.

A couple of weeks after Crown Chakra, SpaceDub went up to Canada to headline Friday nite's 'Motion Notion '03 Festival as Merkaballah. http://www.motionnotion.com/
Canada was wonderful, and Sat. nite, Chris and Nils from Electric Zoom, and VJ Archetype and I VJ'ed up the massive 4 hour Pied Piper Paul set...(which was all Taped!!)
From there, we hit the road, west, and ended up at the
AS1 Festival, outside Eugene, Oregon .http://www.as1.info/
This was another excelent Psy-Trance fest, with Talamasca headlining, and playing a 5 hour set..
Vjing the event was VJ Omanada, of 'Liquid Crystal Vision', and Dreamer John, another talented VJ.
Archetype and I VJ'ed our special Merkabalah "lightDancer set",
which also featured VJ Pablo doing special etched projecttion slides, on our specially choerographed event dancers..
All in All everything turneded out Okay, but could have been better rehearsed..
With the end of the AS1. bought an end to the summer/N. American leg of my VJ tour..
2 weeks later, I would find myself sarting a mammoth
13 Date UK tour, which would also take me to EarthDance Amsterdam -'03

Just back from a mind-blowing AVit experience in Chi-town, and have fully recovered from the lack of sleep, the house parties, the tequila, and oh yes AVit!
It was great to meet, and checkout more geeked out VJ's and Vidiots in one place!!
My A/V part of spacedub's live AV/PA,'Merkabalah' went okay, but was not as good as it could have been, although my Merk partners had a great time being able to perform at such a prestigious event...Next AVit in the UK should be a nice kicker to this North America gem..
Before AVit UK, I will be involved with the 7th annual Summer Soltice gathering in Colorado, the "Crown Chakra" which will be our last Space Dub party, as we will be opening the Crown Chakra, and entering into new dimensions...
Right after the Crown,(yes, another run and jump) I will be flying directly to Serbia to do the "Liquid n Solid '03" Festival,

with VJ Ray-V from Israel...Look out for many good things that will be comming out of this event from both RayV and myself...
After L&S, I will be heading back to the states,(no Amsterdamage for me this time around) to do a few summer parties in Canada, and for the Tantra Lounge, (an amazing rooftop after party, projecting visualz onto the skyscrappers for the Denver Gran Prix VIP's and guests)...
So keep an eye out, you might just see a Pixy this summer...
