My name is Micho (aka Detronik) I am a Detroit based visual manipulator. I started in 1991 doing visuals then adapted myself for doing more complex visuals as Detroits Techno/Electro scene emerged.
Detronik specializes in surveillance style live mixes CCTV Camera technology is deployed on the subject matter transferring the POV to an intimate perspective. Motion/Sound actuates Detronik's robotic cameras to cover the subject with evolving transitions. Sound triggers generative glitch images and reactive visual sequences. Images are adapted to the environment utilizing progressive mapping techniques. Detronik submerges the viewer into the mix and takes away their humanity through random video transferrence. Detroniks motives for this method of mixing is to transmit the omnipresent image of mediated totalitarianism on our surveillance controlled society.
