The artistic group VIDEOKIDZ was established in 2001 in Warsaw as a spontaneous project of two Fine Arts graduates. Our first performances coincided with the emergence of club culture in Poland, which has largely contributed to the popularity of multimedia sets involving real-time mixing of pictures, footage and animation with music played by DJs. Like many others, we also started in the Warsaw club circuit, but with time we have become involved in designing visuals for concerts, live acts, theatre performances, fashion shows, advertising campaigns, television, and film sets. We actively cooperate with artists and VJs from all over the world and work with new media, including 3D projects (requiring use of 3D glasses) – interactivity is the key word in all these areas. We constantly develop our animation bank, with the majority of the content of our own design. We attempt to imprint our projects with our unique style, which has been evolving with our own sensibilities and tastes. We always welcome challenge and look for new spaces in which we could take vision, light and sound to new levels. Come and check us out.
