Sorry for not updating here...you know how it is.
Anyway, my trip to the U.K. to take part in A.V.I.T. was super cool...many thanks to wellREDman and his queen for putting me up at their flat for my time there. Also thanks to the rest of the APT Visuals guys for their hospitality and for going the extra mile to get us all there!
Thanks to all that took part in the event, both in the pre-planning as well as the execution...anyone who wasn't there will never fully comprehend what we did there.
Here's to more AVITs taking place in other parts of the world!

I've just realized I'm down to "15 days and a wake up" before I fly across the Atlantic to take part in what is gearing up to be one of the most spectacular, video-centered events in the world: AVIT http://www.avit.org.uk
Estimates of 30-40 VJs are attending, I believe I'm one of the only attending from North America. Its quite exciting really! I chat with many of these guys online almost everyday and its going to be great to be able to forever put a face w/ the witty screen names. And the club night with 6 VJ rigs running simultaneously! sure to be a treat for the eyes/mind/soul..
So, with something of a deadline approaching, I'm having to consider what exactly I'm going to bring for gear, and how.
As of now, I'm back to bringing my most minimal setup which is my Rebelle, 2 VCD walkmans, their respective cables, and a 48 folder of VCDs...my goal is to take everything with in the carry-on bag...clothes and gear...but we'll see....
